Held Together Happenings

1. Our 1995 Ford Taurus won't start. Hup suspects the fuel pump. Poor thing looks cold and abandoned in our driveway.

2. Boo found a frozen dead mouse on our driveway earlier this week. Upon my investigation (taken a few feet back) it was indeed dead. Gross!

3. Took an almost 500 dollar blood test at my thyroid doctor, who was out of the office on vaction. I suspect my May visit contributed greatly to his vacation fund.

4. Went alone to the 5 PM Mass at church last evening. Happy Feast Day! Hup and Boo attended Mass with their ConQuest group.

5. Boo's homeschool gym ended for 2006. We are signing up for the winter/spring sessions because Coach Fay is amazing and the cost is worth it.

6. Santa has been busy and so have his elves. One of his elves would like it to be just a bit warmer while she has to shop.

7. It was a high of 10 degrees here this week. One elf bought herself new gloves. 16 dollars well spent for pure bliss.

8. Hup is sweet, but that is a Held Happening all the time.

9. Dropped off gifts to our nieces on 12/6. Spent the afternoon playing and visiting with Em, Allie and Aunt Carol.

10. Reading Redwall which is very good but long.
