Boo's Life

Boo is doing great. He has had a fabulous summer playing, playing and playing!!! He had Sports Camp two mornings a week in June. We can't wait to sign up next year. Now, he is playing soccer and tee-ball until mid-August.

July brought Jeff's, his cousin and godfather, wedding. Boo was the ring bearer. After months of anticipation and the big build up...the day arrived...after a great rehearsal the evening before...Boo did a fantastic job...for someone who is shy and doesn't like to be the center of attention he really rose to the occasion...it helped too with how much he loves the bride and groom...

The Monday following the wedding our week of Vacation Bible School began at 9 AM. It was an interesing week having to be somewhere everyday from 9-11:30. Boo loved having his preschool teacher for the VBS. It was great to see Miss Barb everyday. Also, I liked the structure to the days--VBS in the mornings and the pool in the afternoon.

So, we have had nice balance to our summer..fun and frolic mixed with plenty of downtime at home so we can/could relax as a family. Hup can play sports with his boy on the front lawn exactly what he always wanted to do as a Dad!!
