Busy Busy Busy Bees

We had a whirlwind last few days around here. Thursday Boo and I spent the afternoon at the children's museum using his free pass from the library summer reading program. Friday morning the 3 of us went to see Disney's Monster, Inc. on Ice with discount tickets through our local Moms group. Wow!! Very happy to have packed plenty of snacks for Boo since the snowcones alone were 10 bucks!!!!!!!!!!!!
Friday night we attended a feast day party in honor of two boys named Gabriel and Michael. Boo just needs to meet a Raphael and the party would have been complete! :) We found some toy swords at Target which were a hit (no pun intended). We left there late after watching a racoon, possum and skunk in the backyard. These three (assuming) orphans have become a sort of surrogate family in our friend's neighborhood. Boy possums are ugly up close...yuck!
Saturday Boo had his first soccer game (it has its own post it was soooo important)! :)
Our big news....we have a new kitchen floor which is so beautiful it surpasses my expectations tenfold...thank goodness for our bil, Mike, who was INVALUALBE to the project. I am crazy about it. Clap! Clap! Cheer!!!

Today is Mass, mowing the lawn (which looks like hay it is so long) and getting the house put back in some order. We like to rest on Sundays and spend quality family time together. This week there is just way too much chaos we couldn't relax if we tried.
