Apple Picking
Yesterday we went apple picking with our homeschooling group. The apple orchard is owned by a wonderful Christian family about 1.5 hours north of us. I look forward to this day every year.
The grass is the most vibrant shade of green I have ever seen. The gift shop is just delightful!
The workers are all family members and everyone is very smiley and sweet to all the children. There is a teepee, petting zoo, train to ride and play structures (made of wood) for the children to climb all over during the afternoon.
We took a wagon ride out to the apples and let the picking begin for 2006! Boo chose some real juicy ones this year. Hup and he enjoyed a few for dinner last evening. Can't wait for 2007! What a great day every year to enjoy time with Boo and the beauty of nature! And everyone knows I am so not a nature girl so this must be a good trip.
